  • Aleksandr Rodchenko (1891-1956) - The Museum of Modern Art, New York presents the first U.S. retrospective of the work of Aleksandr Rodchenko (1891-1956), one of the leading Russian artists in the period following the Revolution of October 1917. On view from June 25 through October 6, 1998, the exhibition is comprised of more than 300 works in a wide range of mediums and includes an approximate reconstruction of the Workers' Club that Rodchenko designed for the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes.
  • American Sign Museum - The purpose of the American Sign Museum is to preserve, archive and display a historical collection of signs in their many types and forms. The Museum will also document and survey the products and equipment utilized in the design and manufacture of signs, and offer biographical information of the people who have contributed to the industry.
  • The Art of Persuasion: - The history of American advertising in the early part of this century (and graphic design history more generally) is crucially in need of serious study. Only in the past fifteen years has this area of American history received any real scrutiny at all, and this has been scant.   • The Swiss Poster Collection - The Swiss Poster Collection at Carnegie Mellon University is a critical selection of more than 300 works representing the Swiss Posters of the Year competition and other Swiss posters from 1971 to the present. The collection is for students, teachers, scholars, and the general viewer to explore the art of the poster and its leading expression in Swiss graphic design.
  • Graphic Design Education Fundamentals - By Michael Kroeger. Especially now with computer technology dominating the design industry we need to establish basic guidelines of study for current university graphic design students. I have been working on this project for the past several years. I developed these projects in my curriculum to guide first year design students through their design education.
